University of Wisconsin-Whitewater Ma’iingan Residence Hall

This unique housing type is unlike any other on campus. The six-story residence hall was constructed to enable the campus’s continued growth and add amenities that today’s students desire, such as a living-learning style buildings and collaborative learning spaces.

The new low-rise residence hall is made up of six-stories plus a partial basement, with the capacity of 400 beds. The hall provides living unit pods made up of two double occupancy bedrooms and a shared bathroom. The main floor of this new hall provides hallway day-lighting, shared common spaces, including an accessible kitchen and lounge area, seminar/study rooms, and laundry facilities.
