Madison brings street art to Judge Doyle Square parking garage
Madison's newest parking garage on East Wilson Street features a pop of color with the installation of two murals called "Multiplicity"
Construction is nearly complete over at Judge Doyle Square. The ongoing project consists of a 560-space underground parking garage and first floor commercial space, including the bike center that will be operated by Freewheel Community Bike Shop. Above the commercial space is 148 additional parking spaces.
The new parking garage will replace the City’s 60-year old Government East above ground garage on Block 105. Upon completion, the Government East garage is set to be demolished.
The project will contribute to the City’s plans to revitalize Madison’s downtown. The garage is the first element of the two-block development that will lead into the second phase of additions to the structure.
