A strict review, evaluation, and approval of business practices and delivery processes, including quality system regulations, management and staff responsibilities and accountability, contract review, communication and feedback protocols; design control, documentation, data control, purchasing and logistics; Compliance with Quality Management and Quality Assurance Standards that are comprehensive, detailed, and exacting; Companies pursuing certification must be able to document how they operate and maintain a quality system throughout their product/service delivery process, ensuring that processes will meet strict specifications and set standards; In order to become ISO registered, a company is audited by an independent third-party organization for three years to make certain the company complies with the elements of the standards; and In coordination with the third-party surveillance audits, the company must perform internal audits through a company audit team comprised of employees from all facets of the organization.
