Prefabrication innovators. We are leaders in prefabrication, both within our region and beyond. Right now the biggest companies in our industry are doing less than 1% of their work prefabrication. Prefabrication is 35% of our revenue.
Value add. Prefabrication is more than just racks and pods. It delivers quality and uniqueness in design.
Design verification. Verifying that the new design will work in a real-world setting is a tried and true method for heading off problems. To that end we perform a constructability study, during which we’ll propose cost-saving construction alternatives.
Drawing review. We’ll work closely with the architect and engineers to ensure that all drawings are accurate and ready to go out to bid.
Involvement with mechanical, electrical, plumbing and fire protection (MEPF) contractors. Mechanical systems are typically a large part of the budget. We’ve found through experience that projects go over budget when subcontractors are not involved early enough. When that happens square foot numbers are used to build a budget, which can be unclear and unspecific (no one understands quite how the costs were developed). We bring contractors onboard early to ensure the estimate is accurate.
Reduced costs. A average 10% reduction in cost can be expected with prefabrication.
Fewer change orders. Change orders are drastically reduced in the BIM/preplanning process.
Smoother process. We build a better, higher quality building as a result of our streamlined process. Serviceability is also increased.
ACTIVE JOB SITE MANAGERS
Organized workplace. Prefabrication creates a cleaner and more orderly work site.
Less congestion. A more efficient use of labor means fewer workers on the site and less crowding and congestion.
Reduced hazards. On average prefabrication reduces hazard exposure by 16%.
Quicker construction. If an owner has an end date in mind that’s based on traditional construction methods, we can usually generate a schedule savings of up to 25%, and as a result turn the building over sooner.
Material knowledge. We know how long each component takes to design, fabricate and deliver.
