$43 MILLION PROJECT TO ADDRESS ENROLLMENT GROWTH & LEARNING LIMITATIONS
Franklin Public Schools is currently constructing a $43.3 million middle school for grades 6-8. This project will address the following key needs:
- Enrollment Growth
- Learning Limitations including: lack of appropriate lab space, space needs for music, technology, art and tech ed
- Site & Traffic Safety
The new Forest Park Middle School will have a two-story layout and is planned to accommodate 1,350 students at full capacity, serving students in grades 6-8. It is being designed to complement the surrounding neighborhood and include ample green space. It will have flexible and appropriate learning environments to best serve the students’ educational needs.
