Cullen Gets Kudos from Watertown Unified School District’s Douglas Elementary

Posted By culleneditor On January 15, 2010

Although it has been cold and snowy, construction continues at Douglas Elementary. Four rooms on the southeast corner are enclosed with beautiful new windows and soon will get their finishes.

All sorts of internal systems are being added or improved. Our sewer line has been upgraded; we are now connected to a new 6″ water line and new power service; and the spinkler system is about 80% complete.

In addition, The roof on the northeast corner has just been delivered. The construction crew will be working on enclosing that area even thought it is wintry outside.

The crew has been great. They have jumped on any unforeseen events quickly and their positive attitude matches those of our Douglas Tigers!
