Project Description: Restoration and rehabilitation of the Wisconsin State Capitol, the State of Wisconsin’s most important office building, included public and private spaces. The Governor’s office suite was completed 12 months ahead of schedule. The entire complex project was delivered 16 months ahead of schedule because of collaboration on design and engineering during the pre-construction phase. The construction consisted of the restoration of all four wings, the rotunda, and underground tunnel. Over a 12 year period, Cullen completed $130 million of work on the Capitol. In addition, J. P. Cullen & Sons was cited by AIA Wisconsin for our role as contractor for restoration of the WISCONSIN STATE CAPITOL, which received the highest recognition in the Excellence in Architecture Awards. |
