As a member of the Wisconsin Green Building Alliance (WGBA), Cullen is dedicated to building sustainability and longevity and can assist you in “greening” your facility and site.
The team for your project will include an Estimator and Project Manager that is Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) accredited. Working with the architect, together during preconstruction, we will identify sustainable design opportunities for your building project. And if you decide upon certifying your facility, Cullen can assist you in achieving the targeted level of LEED certification.
At every stage, our team incorporates sustainable building strategies we’ve developed through years of experience. This integrated approach keeps your project on track toward achieving targeted benefits from the earliest feasibility studies through building occupancy.
During construction, the team will implement environmental management practices that will benefit the surrounding community and site neighbors. Environmental responsibility goes beyond legal compliance and liability control, it is the way Cullen does business.
Materials and Recycling
We work with WasteCap Wisconsin and local contractors to manage construction waste and salvage materials, diverting resources from incineration and landfills. For example, at Walworth County Lakeland School we re-used 80% of materials that would have otherwise seen a landfill. Similarly, at Prescott Elementary we recycled and reused 80% of the demolitioned elementary school, earning the Enviro-Star Award for our recycling efforts.
Our experience in building sustainable/LEED starts with being the Construction Manager for the largest green project in Wisconsin!
