Project Description:

The Armory had been vacated for several years when architect “Mick” (Michael) Gilbertson became enamored of the building and saw an opportunity to provide the city with an entertainment spot that could boast charm, elegance, and tasteful stage productions – while offering three separate areas for customer-preferred dining experience.

J. P. Cullen was consulted about constructability within a compressed timeframe, as a New Year’s opening date was targeted. Leveraging our self-performance capability, Cullen provided steel, concrete, masonry, and carpentry services to deliver a period-design true to form. The result is 8,500 square foot dinner theater with full theater operations, as well as 11,500 square feet for restaurant, food, and beverage services.
