The conversion of a 10,000 square-foot grocery store into an orthopedic clinic made use of existing unoccupied retail space in the community.

The new Dean Clinic is part of the St. Mary’s Janesville Hospital Campus. Cullen built the superstructure for this 4-story clinic with three floors above ground and a one floor below.

This primary care focused project consisted of a 7,500-square-foot family care center addition to St. Michael Hospital that included a 9,500-square-foot remodel of the exam rooms, medical records, lab, administrative offices, and procedure rooms within the hospital.

The new three-level, steel-framed, medical clinic spans 51,138 square feet. The facility includes exam rooms, treatment rooms, a mental health area, chiropractic office, urgent care, optometry and physical therapy areas. In addition, the clinic will house a Wellness Center providing behavioral heath and complementary medical services.

The project consisted of the buildout of a clinics upper level into a new therapy and edema center. The new center includes: reception area, waiting room, and offices. Special areas include an edema center that features three hyperberic chambers for the treatment of wounds. The therapy area has specialized therapy suites. Each suite is situated with a private preperation room, shower area, and therapy area with homeopathic and medical therapies.

New construction of a two-story addition to the existing clinic – allows Beloit Clinic to respond to its growing patient-base. Additional features to this primary care facility include a new elevator, lobby, and a basement storage area that attaches to the existing building. The exterior consists of glazing and stone panels with drywall/stud backup. Initial construction was a building envelope. The building's interior was completed at a later date.

In the heart of Janesville, Wisconsin, along the Rock River, Dean Riverview Clinic was built to provide comprehensive healthcare and urgent care services for the entire community. The clinic features primary care and medical specialty services, on-site lab and medical imaging facilities, a full-service Dean Pharmacy, and Davis Duehr Dean optical store.

A new 2,533 square foot addition was built to expand the existing wood-framed structure. The addition accommodated physical therapy and office space. The existing lab was remodeled, as well as examination rooms. The clinic needed to remain open and accessible, and this became a project challenge with the plumbing upgrade that necessitated below-floor rough-ins during off hours.
