J. P. Cullen & Sons raises $5,188 for the American Lung Association
Brookfield, Wis. — J. P. Cullen & Sons’, Inc. (Cullen) Milwaukee Division located in Brookfield, Wis. raised $5,188 for the American Lung Association. A team of Cullen employees raised money by walking a five mile course at the Milwaukee County Zoo on October 5, 2008.
Cullen awarded Green County Judicial Center and project at St. Francis Hospital in Milwaukee, Wis.
Janesville, Wis. — J. P. Cullen & Sons, Inc. (Cullen) in Janesville, Wis., was recently awarded the Green County Judicial Center in Monroe, Wis. The $11,272,872 bid will provide Green County with a three-story, 64,000-square-foot building that will be completed in July 2009.
In addition, Cullen’s Brookfield office will begin work at St. Francis Hospital in Milwaukee renovating the fourth and sixth floors in the hospital. The $2.5 million project will be complete in January 2009.
Cullen awarded University of Wisconsin-Whitewater New Residence Hall
Janesville, Wis. — J. P. Cullen & Sons, Inc. (Cullen) in Janesville, Wis., was recently awarded the University of Wisconsin – Whitewater new residence hall in Whitewater, Wis. The $18,458,552 bid will provide UW Whitewater with a five-story, 196,000-square-foot building that will be completed in July 2010. The project will obtain, at minimum, a LEED Silver rating.
J. P. Cullen & Sons breaks ground in US & World Report 
The master builder concept has been around for millennia. It was master builders who created Europe’s great landmarks, for example. Today’s construction industry, however, tends to consist of general contractors and construction managers. But one Wisconsin builder is working to adapt the master builder model to the 21st century.
